You are now able to talk to your Doctor by the phone 5 days a week. Telehealth is a convenient way to access healthcare from home.
It is well suited to scripts or repeat referrals and the management of one issue that does not require a physical examination.
Private Telehealth consults are available 5 days a week during opening hours
If the Doctor deems that a physical examination is required a time will be arranged for you to attend, this review will not attract additional fees.
Rates
Telehealth billing rates are charged at the same rates as in-person consultations.
A Medicare rebate is applicable to this fee for eligible patients
To be eligible for this rebate you must have seen your doctor in person in the last 12 months.
We will process the rebate for you after the consult through Medicare
It may take up to 48 hours for this rebate to be paid
If you require a referral for pathology, radiology, or to a specialist following your telehealth phone consultation, we can email you your referral or fax it directly to the relevant service.
